In Bubble Bobble Evolution, the classic arcade duo Bub and Bob return—but this time, they’re trapped in a strange, reimagined 3D world full of puzzles and twisted architecture. The story begins with Bub and Bob mysteriously cursed and transformed into dragon-like creatures, much like in the original games.

They find themselves imprisoned in a bizarre “Skyscraper World” made up of massive, interconnected cylindrical towers filled with traps, enemies, and strange contraptions. To break the curse and return to their human forms, they must work together, navigate maze-like environments, defeat foes using their signature bubble-blowing powers, and solve platforming puzzles that challenge their teamwork.

The game’s story unfolds through stylized cutscenes and abstract dialogue, keeping things mysterious and a bit surreal. It’s a journey of escape, transformation, and cooperation, all wrapped in an experimental take on the Bubble Bobble universe.
