Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an expanded version of the original Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII, which was first released for PlayStation Portable in 2007. This HD remaster for the PlayStation 4 brings to life the beloved characters and story, with updated visuals and audio.

The story of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion takes place shortly after the events in Final Fantasy VII, and follows the adventures of SOLDIER member Zack Fair. Zack is part of an elite military unit within the Shinra Corporation, and is tasked with preventing the use of the powerful and mysterious ‘Crisis Core’ by the enemies of Shinra. As Zack delves into the story of the Crisis Core, he meets both friend and foe and must face his own internal struggles brought on by his troubled past.
